The Portland-based Lyrical Strings Duo (Lucia Conrad on violin and Stephen Osserman on classical guitar) will perform works from their debut album Evening Songs. With passionate performances and original arrangements of Chopin, Mendelssohn, Faure, Ponce, Kreisler and more, the duo breathes new life into the dark and mysterious music of the 19th and early-20th centuries. Acclaimed cellist/singer Ashia Grzesik will open the evening, and other friends will join Lucia and Stephen to perform a wide-range of classical works.
